The unique design of the Collar Doc addresses the shape of the collar ring itself in order correct the splayed collar.
Step 1 – Prepare Shirt
- Unbutton your shirt
- Flip up the collar and lay shirt collar on a flat surface
Step 2 – Grab 2 Collar Docs
- Use tab to peel off a Collar Doc strip
- Save the non-adhesive backing to use after shirt wear
Step 3 – Apply Collar Docs
- Securely place one Collar Doc on the inner ring of the collar with the wire placed just below the collar fold.
- Keep Collar Docs hidden under the collar by placing each strip about ½” from the button and button hole.
- Once in place, some of the strip adhesive will be on the flipped up collar portion but most (including the wire) will be below the fold.
Step 4 – Mold and Admire
- Fold the collar back down
- Mold each side to your desired collar shape
- Smile. You look really good.
How to Reuse:
- Slowly remove each Collar Doc strip from your shirt and carefully straighten.
- Replace the non-adhesive backings onto each Collar Doc and restore in their case.
- Be sure to remove each strip prior to washing or dry cleaning your shirt

How many Collar Docs do I need per shirt?
You need two Collar Doc strips per shirt to maintain a perfect collar.
How many wears can I get out of each Collar Doc?
It depends upon the fabric and how gentle you are removing the Collar Doc strip, but you can expect to get 2 or 3 wears out of each strip. Once the adhesiveness wears out, it’s time to get a new one. Remember not to wash or dry clean your shirt with the Collar Doc in place!
How many come in a package?

What if I prefer the splayed collar look?
